Dr. Wennekes is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery at the University of Utrecht. He is head of the ‘Chemical Glycobiology’ research group, which focuses on the study of glycans to develop new glycotherapeutics and diagnostics.
