Fenfluramine hydrochloride

A serotonin reuptake inhibitor. An anorectic agent, due to its appetite-suppressing actions. Norfenfluramine, its major metabolite, is an agonist of 5-HT2C receptors. Anti-seizure effect of fenfluramine has been demonstrated in patients with Dravet syndrome.
