Atosiban acetate

Competitive oxytocin receptor antagonist. Inhibits oxytocin-induced uterine contractions in vitro and in in vivo models of preterm labor.  Acts via Gαi signalling and activates NF-κB and MAPK pathways to elicit proinflammatory effects in the amnion.
