Arvanil

Agonist of cannabinoid CB1 receptor and vanilloid receptor type 1 (TRPV1), which is a hybrid of capsaicin and anandamide. Induces apoptosis by FADD-mediated activation of caspase-3, 7 and 8. Has vasodilatory, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Anti-seizure effect of arvanil has been demonstrated in animal seizure models.
