Cellooligosaccharides

Cellooligosaccharides are composed of β-1,4-linked glucose residues and are derived from cellulose, by partial hydrolysis, acetolysis or enzymes (e.g. cellulase).  Our range includes cellodextrins, intermediates that arise from the hydrolysis of cellulose, which have uses in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and agriculture industries. Compounds such as cellobionic acid have cosmetic applications, such as in anti-ageing, moisturizing and anti-acne formulations.
