Maltodextrins

Maltodextrins are D-glucose polymers of variable length, produced by the hydrolysis of starch. They are commonly used in the food industry as gelling, texturising, emulsifying and non-crystallising agents. Maltodextrins are also used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals manufacturing as excipients.
